If you don't already know me, hi! I'm Cayce! I like to knit, crochet, and play with clay. I have one cat, two dogs, and four chickens. Eventually, I will be posting about those things! I might even add some kind of blog, but that might be a bit ambitious, so we'll have to see about that.
You may be asking, "Cayce, haven't you been chronically online since you were 12? Didn't you teach yourself html on Neopets, Xanga, and Facebook? Didn't your high school teach you html? What do you mean, 'this is your first website?'"
I would answer that with another question: "how much html did I learn those 100 years ago that is still relevant today?" If you know much about html, you might not be satisfied with that answer. The truth is that I haven't touched html since well before I joined Facebook in 2007, which means I simply don't remember any of it.
As of the typing of this code, I signed up for my own page on this website less than 8 hours ago. Everything I know about how to code and format a website, I learned from HTML Dog's HTML Beginner Tutorial and CSS Beginner Tutorial, both of which I took after the hair cut appointment I was already almost late for when I signed up.
Because this is a beginner project for me, this page is going to be a little clumsy as I figure everything out. Rather than waiting until I have a finished product that I'm proud of, I'm going to go ahead and publish this now. To show my gratitude for anyone who stuck around, here's a picture of Hank under the dinner table, nonchalant and totally not begging for food.
